To celebrate the opening of the Castle of Light, a commemorative album National Library of Latvia. Architect Gunnar Birkerts is published. The author of the book is the well-known Latvian architect Jānis Dripe. This luxurious album, with many high-quality images, reveals the building's complex project development path, from its inception as an idea of architect Gunnar Birkerts to the fully completed building.
